The large lake at st. Ferreol (a 10 minute drive) with a sandy beach and back-drop of pine woods offers swimming and water sports, as well as numerous bars and restaurants. There are plenty of quiet roads and tracks for cyclists and many marked walks, local restaurants and of course wine tasting. Or try a visit to one of the many traditional markets. Our nearest town is castelnaudary which sits on the canal du midi and we are only a short drive from the medieval city of carcassonne.
